Cherry Cobbler Pizza

This homemade cherry dessert pizza is easy to make and tastes amazing! It bursts with robust cherry flavor along with a buttery topping and sweet drizzle. Your family and friends will be begging for more once they taste this scrumptious dish.

Ingredients for dough:
Milk - 1/4 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Egg - 1
Flour - 1 cup
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Butter - 3 tbsp.
Brown sugar - 3 tbsp.
Active dry yeast - 1 1/2 package
Ingredients for cobbler:
Brown sugar - 2 tbsp.
Butter - 2 tbsp.
Salt - to taste
Cinnamon - 1/4 tsp.
Sliced almonds - 1/4 cup (or pecans)
Mascarpone - 1/2 cup
Rolled Oats - 1 cup
Method of preparing the cobbler:
  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). Spray a baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, add the yeast to the water and mix until fully combined.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix oats, butter, cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts.
  4. Spread the dough in the baking pan, and prick the dough all over so it won’t bubble up when baking.
  5. Spread the canned cherry pie filling on top of the dough, followed by the topping. Bake for 7-8 minutes in the middle rack of your oven.
  6. When the pizza is done, add mascarpone cheese on top and enjoy!
