Ingredients for Cheese Tortellini In Creamy Marinara:
Cheese tortellini - 12-16 oz. (or refrigerated)
Canned crushed tomatoes - 1 (28 oz.) can
Balsamic vinegar - 1 tbsp.
Baby spinach - 3 tightly packed cups
Basil leaves - 8 (fresh)
Olive oil - 2 tbsp.
Garlic powder - 2 tsp.
Oregano - 1 tsp. (dried)
Kosher salt - 1 tsp.
Goat Cheese - 4 oz. log
Method of preparing the Cheese Tortellini In Creamy Marinara:
  1. Boil the tortellini according to the package instructions and drain it.
  2. In a large skillet, add the crushed tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, spinach, whole basil leaves, olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, and kosher salt. Bring to a simmer, then cover and simmer for at least 10 minutes while the pasta cooks.
  3. Add the pasta to the skillet after it's done and drained. Add in the goat cheese into the sauce and stir until a creamy sauce forms. Serve immediately.
